The year 2025 has begun with a busy and productive start for DMC Operations in Dubai. Our teams have hit the ground running, managing a diverse range of high-demand tasks across multiple areas of expertise. From engine overhauls to propeller repairs, the DMC team continues to deliver top-notch service and solutions to our clients.
OEM Team: Thruster and engine overhauls
The OEM service engineers have been hard at work, completing overhauls of 12 thrusters from leading manufacturers such as Niigata, Kawasaki, Nagashima, and HRP. Additionally, six Niigata engines have been overhauled by the team. Our workshops are operating at full capacity, with our newly opened second workshop playing a crucial role in handling the increased workload. As we continue to grow and attract new clients, we’re committed to offering comprehensive services and support entirely in-house.

These repairs and services were carried out at the various Dubai and Abu Dhabi ports, showcasing our team's growing expertise and capacity for in-house solutions.
Fuel and Governor Shop: Efficiency and quality
The Fuel and Governor Shop has been busy servicing and testing a variety of governors, fuel pumps, and injectors. Offering these services in-house allows our clients to observe and evaluate the performance and quality of the equipment before installation. Furthermore, we’ve invested in a critical stock of marine governor spares, significantly reducing lead times and ensuring quicker turnaround times for our customers.

Propeller Shop: Our largest repair yet
This year, we took on one of our most significant propeller repairs to date. A customer approached us with a damaged 6-ton, 4.5-meter-diameter propeller, and our team successfully performed class-certified repairs. These repairs included pitch correction, blade straightening, static balancing, and final polishing. The result? A smoother, more efficient propeller with reduced vibration and improved powertrain performance. In addition to large-scale propeller repairs, our team also provides reconditioning, pitch correction, and dynamic balancing services for smaller propellers, serving local clients in Fujairah and Dubai. As we move forward in 2025, DMC Operations remains committed to delivering highquality, in-house solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. We look forward to continued growth and success in the months ahead, backed by the expertise and dedication of our talented teams.
